Default rules how to make noun from adjective

    Hi!
I need your help. Are there any rules how to make noun from adjective?
eg. free freedom, active activity? etc. Or I should just learn it by heart?

Unfortunately, we have so many English and French words that there are various ways this is done. You'll just have to learn a large number of them first, before seeing the patterns.
