Reaction Paper

I was asked to write a reaction paper my in US.History Class.
But I literally have no idea what it is and how I should write one.
Can anybody please explain it to me? Say, tell me how I should start, what the format of the paper should be, etc.

These are all questions that you need to ask your teacher, or one of your classmates. You should not be afraid of asking your teacher if the teacher hasn't made it clear to everybody.
I have never heard of a Reaction Paper. My guess is that it is meant to be an essay about your reaction to something that happened in US History, or that you read about.
