Hi
Does the term "bodily processes" mean the same as "physiological processes"? If not, how to name "bodily process" in a different way?
Bodily processes suggests "bodily functions' which refers to things like urinating, defecating, menstruation ... which occur at the whole body level.
Eating, sex, exercising ... could be called bodily processes.
Physiological processes usually refers to smaller scale things like metabolism, biochemical actions, etc. at the level of cells and tissues.
Organ-level things like respiration, digestion, blood circulation could be described by either term, depending on the context.
The sentence says: The oppression of women is closely connected to a sense of alienation from a human body, and a negative attitude to instincts and bodily processes.
Yes, then it obviously isn't referring to the Kreb's Cycle or glucophosphorylation. If women as a whole have negative attitudes to these processes, then you'd have to assume that they are talking about things that most women would know about - not physiology, but the "whole body" processes I mentioned.
