[QUOTE=MohamedSobieh;522197]Put the bracketed expressions into the sentences and choose the correct tens[e]. You need to do that before we can help you.
I'll show you how by doing the first one:
1. I'm sorry for her. She has had bad lucky all her life.
Oh, I'm really sorry I thought you will answer directly.
OK. I'll start
2. He has been unemployed ever since he left school.
3. How Long have you lived in this town?
6. I didn't work very hard when I was at university.
7. He was ill before christmas, but he has been fine since then.
10. I have learned a lot in this job.
11. I didn't learn much in that job.
12. My boyfriend and I have knowen each other for ages.
14. I spent three days in hospital last month.
Well done. Most of these are correct.
10 and 11 are a problem. First, you've changed 'this' to 'that' in 11. (Maybe not a problem)
There are several choices for 10, 11.
10. I learn a lot in this job; I've learned a lot in this job.
11.
I haven't learned much in this job.
I'm not learning much in this job.
I don't learn much in this job.
If you change it to 'that job':
I hadn't learned ...
I wasn't learning ...
I didn't learn ...
"That job" tends to indicate it was in the past, as opposed to "this job" which is the one you have now.
