a few connotations of "reconcile"
Dear teachers,
Would you be kind enough to tell me whether I am on the right track by the interpretation of the expressions in bold in the following sentences?
We become reconciled.
He refused to become reconciled with his brother.
We have to reconcile her with her family.
Friends managed to reconcile him with his wife.
reconcile somebody with somebody = cause (persons) to become friends after they have quarreled
How can this decision be reconciled with justice?
I can’t reconcile what you say with the facts of the case.
reconcile = being into harmonium with
