Hello Everyone

Stainless steel belt are used in our company to make the ring of tempered glass lids for pots and pans. It is about 0.3mm width and from 14mm to 65mm long. I would like to know here ? Which word is proper here to describe it? Belt, band , tape or other words?

I wonder if those measurements are correct? 0.3mm is really tiny.

- belt is the "largest" word of these three
- tape is the smallest
- band is the most neutral and non-specific
