| Please, tell me which of the following sentences would sound most natural to a native English speaker: 1) What do you think of the way Dr. Lewiston responded yesterday to the criticism expressed a few days earlier? 2) What do you think of the way yesterday Dr. Lewiston responded to the criticism expressed a few days earlier? 3) What do you think of the way Dr. Lewiston responded to the criticism expressed a few day earlier yesterday? Are all the above sentences correct? Personally it seems to me that the third one sounds very strange and is incorrect. The second one is the best, I guess. Am I right? What do you think of it? What about the following sentences? 4) I saw yesterday the girl we met last Friday. 5) Yesterday I saw the girl we met last Friday. 6) I saw the girl we met last Friday yesterday. I'm sorry if my question is too long. Thanks in advance for your help. Have a nice day |

| Not correct, you cannot split "the girl' and "we met last Friday" FRC |
