Change trains or change the train

Is it okay to say, "change the train at..."?
I thought that I had to say, "please change trains at...."

"Change trains" is better.

Actually the expression 'change trains' is a general instruction and hence is more appropriate usage

However, in this case 'change the train' is quite acceptable as the passenger/listener is concerned with his train which is 'the train'

or it could have even been 'change your train'
