I was thinking

Are these correct? If not, why?
1. I was thinking if you do that, it may not work.
2. I was thinking if you repair it, it will still not work.

Should the above be changd to:
3. I was thinking if you did that it might not work.
4. I was thinking if you repaired it, it would still not work.

Or is #1 and #2 are okay as they are not imaginary conditionals.

1 & 2 are OK- it depends on the likelihood of the repairs. I'd say 'thinking that if you..'. ;-)
