Shouldn't be a problem, although I have to admit, sometimes I don't understand some of the jokes.

Marylin, it's so nice of you offering the kind help!
But I am sure it's too much to translate the line or something. I was just asking in case you guys have run into those kind of stuff (like the ESL teacher's webiste). Well if you do, just post the website here would be just wonderful.

    You are welcome.
A few lines is no problem, Welldone. If you can dig out the script first, it makes it a lot easier and less time consuming for me.
Otherwise, between me and Shane, we should do OK.
I don't have a clue where else to find that kind of help on the net. Sorry.

    dear Marylin and Shane,

here is a new one in episode 222 of Friends, where they are throwing two parties for Rachel's birthday. There is a scene that Ross keeps Rachel's father away from Monica's apartment, where Rachel's mother stays. What I don't understand is the underlined words in red, especially "roo". I looked it up in the dictionary. It says that "roo" is Austrilia slang for "kangaroo"...Still don't understand why Ross says "what a great moment to say that for the first time"...

thanks a lot and here are the lines:

ROSS: Oh, mine too. Isn't that neat, scotch neat. Would you excuse me? [walks out in the hallway, Mr. Greene is walking out of Chandler and Joey's apartment] Hey, hey, where you uh, sneakin off to mister?

MR. GREENE: I'm getting my cigarettes out of my jacket.

    ROSS: No. no.

    MR. GREENE: Whad'ya mean no?

ROSS: No, um, see 'cause that, that is, that is the staging area. If you go in there, it'll ruin the whole illusion of the party. Yeah, I think you take your scotch back in there and I will get your cigarettes for you sir.

MR. GREENE: Get my glasses too.

ROSS: All righty roo. [closes the door] What a great moment to say that for the first time. [goes to get the cigarettes and glasses]

It's just like saying Okey Dokey! or Rightio! or Right on! it's an exclamation of affirmation when you agree to do something.
Knowing Ross Geller, he displays a very childish behavior at times, just like the rest of them as you know. I find Allrighty-roo a little kiddish in nature but that's the way Ross is - he goofs up and acts like a little boy just to get a free lillipop.
