- The sun and the moon are often ..........in poetry
A. personified B. personalized C personal D privatized
In that sentence, I choose both A and B but the answer is only A.
Is there any different between "personify" and "personalize"?

Re: some question for my exercises
Hi san2612
My recommendation, as an NES but not a teacher, would be:
1. "from staying", as "for staying" suggests a reason why they should be forbidden from doing something else.
2. "if the need arises"
3. "in the years ahead"
4. "land to any..."
Personified means treated as though they were living persons.
Personalised includes "decorating" items such as your mobile phone, car or computer so that it is instantly recognisable as yours.
Hope this helps

Re: some question for my exercises
Hi san2612
I'm not sure what your actual query is with this one.
a) "from staying out after 11:30 ....." and
b) "from going out after 11:30 ....."
are two separate concepts, both of which could be appropriate.
In case a), you go out before that time and stay out after that time.
In case b), you don't go out until after that time.
Either case could apply.
