Customers in this line are limited to twelve items or less. Strictly speaking it should be "fewer" rather than "less", but you will see "less" very often.
She wishes she were richer. You will see "was", I would use "were".
I have seen that movie yesterday. If you are using a specific time reference, use the simple past "I saw" rather than the present perfect "I have seen". You could say: "I have seen that movie." "I saw it yesterday".
Each of his sons is fluent in German. Correct.
My father took my brother and me to the movies. Correct.
