Default purpose clause

Are these sentences correct:
1-He spoke so slowly that we should understand him.
2-He spoke slowly enough that we should understand him.

His purpose was to be understood and therefore he spoke slowly enough to be undertood.

I'd prefer them like this:
1-He spoke slowly so that we should understand him.
2-He spoke slowly enough that we might understand him.

Hi tdol!

What about the second sentence like this "He spoke slowly enough for us to understand him" ?
