Default cream

Hi, I read that Scots like to add cream in their tea.
Is cream the fat of the milk in this case?
I mean, I know it can' t be the cream you use for your body , but I don't if it is whipped cream or the more liquid cream it is used to prepare a bechamelfor lasagne.
Thanks. Rip.

It's the same as putting milk in your tea but with a higher fat content. There are two kinds of cream - heavy cream (very thick and used in cooking or baking) and half-and-half cream which is not as thick as heavy cream. It makes the tea taste yum!
