Which one of the following sentences is correct (UK English)? Please advise.. thanks!

"regardless of the number of hotel night stays" OR
"regardless of the numbers of hotel night stay"

I think the first one is correct "regardless of the number of hotel night stays"
May be a Language Expert from UK will be able to confirm on this...
