Wish + Would / Simple Past

I've just read the following examples of sentences with "wish" to indicate annoying habits. Is there any difference in them or I can use both?

a) I wish they wouldn't keep complaining. / I wish they didn't keep complaining.

b) I wish he wasn't always playing computer games. / I wish he would stop playing computer games.

You can use both for habits.
