    Default Wear/Bear

    Hi!
Could you tell me if it is correct to say " I bear a watch" instead of "I wear a watch" ?
Are 'wear' and 'bear' the same?
    Thanks :)

    Hi Lipa,

No, don't say "bear" as a substitute for "wear."

There is one phrase, "bear arms," meaning to carry weapons.

Bear is more like "carry" - a burden that is hard to bear.
