| I am grading some of my students work and we, Spanish, tend to use have all the time. I think I went over "tener miedo" there is no way to express it by using the verb have, "be scared/frightened" will do, won't it? the problem now is "tener fuerza" which seems to me the same problem, I would say that we need to use "be strong" Am I right? thank you. pitimorcon. |

| Hello pitimorcon Tener miedo means to be afraid / to have fear. Tener fuerza means to be strong / to hold or keep strong. |
