Default have

Hi there!
I am grading some of my students work and we, Spanish, tend to use have all the time. I think I went over "tener miedo" there is no way to express it by using the verb have, "be scared/frightened" will do, won't it?
the problem now is "tener fuerza" which seems to me the same problem, I would say that we need to use "be strong" Am I right?
thank you.

Default Re: have

Hello pitimorcon

Tener miedo means to be afraid / to have fear.
Tener fuerza means to be strong / to hold or keep strong.
