"My wife and I at a party" is grammatically correct, but it's ok to write "Me and my wife at a party."

"My wife and I" is the correct, grammatical expression, but sounds too formal -cold and objective - if you are showing people some photos in a casual situation.
But note: it is bad manners to put oneself first, as in "me and the wife" - use the colloquial 'bad grammar' in informal situations, but have good manners and put the other person first: 'my wife and me at the beach' - "Mary and me in Vegas".
