    I am going to listen to some music.

    Is this sentence correct?

    My doubt is that if I can use "some music" ...or only "music"

    It's okay -- very natural where I live.
    I'm not a teacher, but I write for a living. Please don't ask me about 2nd conditionals, but I'm a safe bet for what reads well in (American) English.
