    Default to dream about

    "to dream about something" means when u are sleeping and "to dream of" when u want something to happen? Is it so?

    Not necessarily.

    You could be dreaming about having a new house every day.

    I am dreaming about having those fancy Italian shoes that my friend just bought last week.
