subjective or objective pronoun
This is me.
This is I.
how should I say???? and what is the rule???
Thank you in advance. english Learner
Re: subjective or objective pronoun
You can use either. Traditional grammarians like the use of 'I' because the verb 'be' can't take an object. However, the vast majority of native speakers use 'me'. My advice would be to do what everybody does and say 'me'.
