    Question tag questions

    Though it is commonly said in this example
    This isnt her pet, isnt it?
    however am i right to say
    This isnt her pet, isnt this?

    They are both wrong. With question tags, if the first part of the sentence is positive the tag is negative, and if it's negative the tag is positive, thus:
    This is her pet, isn't it?
    This isn't her pet, is it?
