Default becoming red = blush?

Hello,
Let's say a girl tells you that you're a beautiful man, and you become red in your face.
Do you blush then?
And could you just say: "Wow, I blush" / "Wow, I'm blushing". ?
Is that right or is there another word for this meaning?

Cheers!

You're on the right track.

You would blush, but you would say........

"Now you're making me blush. "

Incidentally, in the UK, only females are described as "beautiful". A man would be "handsome" or "good looking".

I'd say 'I turn red' ... instead of 'become'.

I blush everytime she kisses me in public.
Stop it! I am blushing here.
I blush with shame....
