I have a question about terminology in student assessment
Hi! teachers
I have a question about terminology in student assessment. When it comes to assessing student's test relative to those of the other students, is it o.k to say "curved grading" or "grading on the curve"?
Then, what is the opposite of curved grading? Is it "norm scale grading" of "norm grading"?
I'd like to know more common terminology. Thanks a million in advance

linear grading and bell-curve grading - other methods exist too
