| What is meaning of the letter " ó"? Is it futile character? See these sentences(also see this link http://www.eastoftheweb.com/short-stories/UBooks/ToldYou!725.shtml): 1.Jake said he didn't really believe in the bogyman, but he was always really careful to lock the doorsójust in case. 2.He was reading about the liceólice eggs used to hatch in the seams of the soldiers' clothes and drive them mad; he was getting itchy just thinking about itówhen something hit him in the side of his head like a bullet. 3.He looked to where the noise was coming from. He could see a shape coming out of the rhododendrons. A huge dark shape óó. Help me! Thanks. |

| "ó" sounds like trying to say "all" without the "ll" at the end. But a little bit longer than normal all :), something like aaall (without that l's at the end, of course) |

| As BHAISAHAB wrote, it is NOT an English letter. So, it has no meaning in English, other than a vaguely o-shaped letter. |

| Oh, I see what it is now. It is not a letter from a language. It's a consequence of the different coding for ASCII and ANSI characters; it was a dash in ANSI, and a computer read it as ASCII, giving the incorrectly displayed character seen. You can assume it is a double-hyphen or dash. |
