You could sign up for an English language class. In addition to taking the class, you should do the following on your own: read, keep a notebook, take any opportunity you get to practice speaking, listen to radio shows - and - Study on your own. Don't think you'll learn and improve by just doing one thing.

Be proactive. Take it upon yourself.

Learning a language requires one to be proactive, as does teaching a language.

Don't wait for someone to tell you to do it. Think about what you have to do, and then do it.

You could also find a tutor - private instruction. That helps.
