Default burst with protest against something

Dear teachers,
Could you tell whether the use of prepositions is correct in this sentence?
Does the sentence sound natural to you?

The forum literally burst at the seams with protest against the ‘net censorship’.

I also thought about using continuous:
The forum was literally bursting at the seams with protest against the ‘net censorship’.
Which one is better?
I'll be really grateful for your help.

Either is good, but delete "literally". (You don't mean it to be taken literally.) Also, delete "the" before "'Net censorship".
