Usually I like my tea sweet.

sweet = having the taste of sugar

It was sweet of you to think of me.

it is very sweet of you = it is very kind/considerate of you

They were terribly sweet to me.

sweet = kind

It was sweet to hear people to praise me so much.

sweet = pleasantly

What is it, my sweet?

sweet = a dear or beloved person

They liked the sweets of life.

I am trilled with the hope to taste the sweets of success.

He craved for the sweets of home.

sweet = enjoyment, pleasure, relish

Is the ham still sweet?

still sweet = not spoiled, sour, or decaying; fresh

We have to keep the rooms sweet.

Then they have a sweet smell.

The air was sweet with the odors of spring.

The air is sweet with thyme.

sweet = fragrant

Jill has a sweet tooth; she always orders apple pie after a meal in a restaurant.

sweet tooth = to be excessively fond of dessert items

What’s your racket?

The drunken man in the street kicked up no end of a racket. (was very noisy and boisterous)

I’m getting too old to stand the racket.

to stand the racket = to take the blame on behalf of one's gang
