Adjectives
Hi all,
How should we define an adjective?
Most books on grammer define it like;
"A word that qualifies a noun"
Then what about these sentences:
He is a good man.
He is a good teacher.
He is a good thief.

Or is it the noun that qualifies the adjective.

In your examples the adjective "good" describes the man, the teacher and the thief.
