The following words are and uncountable and therefore, they do not need articles 'a' or 'an.

1. Knowledge.
Check this sentence: The school gave me a good education. Can you explain the use of 'a' here?

2. Love
Check this sentence: He has a great love of his job. Can you explain the use of 'a' here?

3. Knowledge
Check this sentence: We need someone with a good knowledge of Chinese. Can you explain the use of 'a' here?

Knowledge and Education are uncountable but can be used as singular countable.
All parents expect their children to get a good education.
He has a limited knowledge of Chinese
However ‘love’ is considered countable when it refers to something that you like very much or a person that you love and feel attracted to .
Music is one of her greatest loves.
She was the love of my life.

These can all take plurals.
"Education" is contentious. We had this discussion recently, and most people judged that 'educations' was possible, as in "You can't compare their abilities like that. They've had different educations."

"Loves" is possible in many situations. "The lives and loves of the Romantic poets".

"Knowledges" is harder. I can't think of a good example that would be used colloquially.

I have no problem with the use of 'the' with uncountable nouns. But, my question is ... can we use 'a love' or 'a education' or 'a knowledge'? If no, what difference does it make when we say 'a good education' or 'a limited knowledge'?

Hi! I'm not a teacher.

In my opinion you can convert uncount nouns to count nouns when the meaning is 'a type/sort/variety of': a local cheese, a wine of the region. Thus, everything depends on the context. So if you mean 'a type/sort of love/education/knowledge then, my understanding is that you can use the indefinite article 'a'/'an' with uncount nouns.
