Which phrasing is correct?
1. Believers of XXX religion worldwide comprise only 0.008 percent of the world population of sixty-eight billion
2. Believers of XXX religion worldwide comprise only 0.008 percent of the sixty-eight billion of the world population.
Which is the correct phrasing in bold?
Many thanks.

Re: Which phrasing is correct?
Thanks, 2006.
Actually, the figure for the population of the world was not provided by me. I have since checked with google and found that it should be 6.801 billion.
Thanks for being so alert and for pointing out error.
