Will the reader think there were too much content or too much syllabus?

Which sentence is correct?


Sentence1:
We couldn’t memorize all the content in the syllabus, because there were too much.

Sentence2:
We couldn’t memorize all the content in the syllabuses, because there were too much.

Sentence3:
We couldn’t memorize all the content in the curriculum, because there were too much.

Sentence4:
We couldn’t memorizeall the content in the curriculums, because there were too much.

curriculum: my definition of this word is: the schematic representation of the order, intensity, and content of courses for a particular educational or academic purpose.

Your point doesn't have much to do with curriculum. You could try something like the following sentence:

The contents/ materials (outlined ) in the syllabus are/ appear to be so comprehensive/ detailed/ time-consuming that we can't memorize all of them.

You are trying to evade studying, aren't you?
