help any alevel/gcse teachers of english?! i am looking into becoming either an a level or gcse level english teacher, could you please let me know of the qulaifications and best routes into this i would need. my current qualifictaions are an A at a level english language combined and predicted 2 c's or abpve at A level psychology and media. Would a degree in english be the best way to go ,then go on to get my NQT?

Re: help any alevel/gcse teachers of english?! It would be the most obvious. There are also places that offer degrees which combine teacher training with the subject.
