    Red face help any alevel/gcse teachers of english?!

    i am looking into becoming either an a level or gcse level english teacher, could you please let me know of the qulaifications and best routes into this i would need. my current qualifictaions are an A at a level english language combined and predicted 2 c's or abpve at A level psychology and media. Would a degree in english be the best way to go ,then go on to get my NQT?

    It would be the most obvious. There are also places that offer degrees which combine teacher training with the subject.
