what's the difference?what are they? please help!!

Look at the following sentence:
It's raining.

What's actually raining? It's hard to say what 'it' refers to, so it's a dummy pronoun, there to make the sentence garmmatical. When a pronoun refers directly to something, it has reference- it's referential. In your question, you use 'they'- that's referential- I can tell you what you are referring to- the types of pronoun mentioned in your thread title.
