-interface hypothesis

-effect hypothesis

-innateness hypothesis


in terms of language learning.

innateness hypothesis


I only have time for one- this is the theory that language, or the capacity to learn it is innate (we are born with it). this comes from the ideas of Naom Chomsky. ;-)
