Hi all,
I am finding it difficult in using reflexive pronouns.
For e.g.
1. Kamesh and Myself will attend the program to be held on 26th March.
2. Kamesh and I will attend the program to be held on 26th March.
3. Kamesh and me will attend the program to be held on 26th March.
Which one of these three sentences is correct. And why?
Thanks in advance

I'd say 2 is the right answer. Your confusion can be avoided if you just remove the second party from the sentences where you feel like using “myself” or "me".
> Kamesh and me will attend..would you say: me will attend...? NO!
> kamesh and myself will attend...would you say: myself will attend...? NO!
So the right answer can only be 'Kamesh and I will attend...'
As far as 'myself' is concerned, you could use it as an object only when you have used “I” earlier in the same sentence: "I'm not especially fond of reggae music myself"
I agree with Ruofei. #2 is right. Avoid using refelxive pronouns as the subject. You will hear #1 sometimes, but this usage is not regarded as very good English, and would be regarded as an error in many tests.![]()
