most sold...
Hi,
Is the following sentence correct?
"This is the most sold book in the bookstores."
-
Re: most sold...
This book is at the top of the best-seller lists.

It is not technically wrong but it does sound a little awkward. It would be more likely that you would hear someone say, "It is the most highly sold book in the stores," or, similarly to euncu, "the best-selling book in the stores."
