    Hi everyone,
    I wonder if my sentence is right..
    The subject of the book are the problems of growing up.

    Please, help!!!

    The grammatical subject of the verb 'be' is 'The subject'. The two words concide, do the two subjects. 'The subject' is singular and so is to be the verb. Use 'is'.
