Can you please describe mass here, the celerbation in Christian chures? Is the celebaration performed usually? What is its influence on modern western society? And I would also like to know here what " observing mass " mean?

Be aware that it is primarily the Roman Catholic church (and maybe a few others) that celebrate the mass. Most Protestant churches do not; so most Christian churches do not. Protestant churches generally call their meetings services.
The crucial part of the mass is the sacrament of Holy Communion. This is a rite during which small wafers of bread are changed into the body of Christ in a process called transubstantiation. This is taken to be a literal transformation (as opposed to the metaphorical interpretation of those Protestant churches who celebrate Holy Communion.) The priest then drinks the blood of Christ (transubstantiated from wine), while small pieces of their God's body are eaten by the members of the congregation.
