I need to know what is sequencing words.

I found that while I was teaching a class of Writing. We were analyzing a letter and then the phrase came to us as a question:

Find two sequencing words.

It's a word that establishes the order or sequence of events:

Firstly,
then
next
after that
lastly
etc.
