Hello,![]()
Could you help me understand these three phrases: scare up,scrape together and scrape up?
What are the difference and common between three of them?
Thanks a lot!

Scare up??
The other two can both be used to talk about getting money. If I were physically searching my house for coins etc, I'd say I managed to scrape together the money needed.![]()
how about the phrase " Scare up"? Do you have any thing in common![]()
Thank you,

Scare up does have that meaning in American English- get something you need with difficulty. We don't use it in British English at all.![]()
