Verb Tens confusion

Hi,

This might be a silly question, but I wounder what's the difference btw when to use (will or would) when talking about future? I's like to know the same thing about when to use
(may-might)
(can-could)
or even (shall-should), even though I hardly notice the use of shall in every day speaking.
I use them losely when speaking, but some times it's embarising and even confusing to other people especially when I speak in cadamic setting where I should be precise and clear. (of course English isn't my first language)

I appreciate it If there was some examples to illustrate the difference.

On a basic level, 'will' is for something real and 'would' is for something that is imaginary or unlikely.
