Default Imperative or Interrogative?

Please help me guys.

Are asking permission sentences such as "May I go out?", "Could you lend me your book?", and "Can I ask you out?" considered as interrogative or imperative sentence. Please provide references.

Thanks a lot.

Default Re: Imperative or Interrogative?

They're interrogative- the person has a clear choice.
