In a word, no. The contractions with I are I'm, I'll, I'd and I've.

We don't contract 'was' or 'were'. ;-)
May I offer a couple of corrections?
With reference to the question I asked yesterday, I want to make it more clear. Can an apostrophe be used after the pronoun "I" to make "I was" "I's"?Quote:
