    The woman was talking, as I guessed , about the 2 TV shows (Idol) and (Survivor) saying...

    "Idol, 32 share, 20 rating. Survivor 45 share, 28 rating."

    she was reading those words from a magazine.

    Now, I know that "rating" is like "evaluation" but what does she mean by "share" here?

    Probably she means the percentage of audience share for each show.
