Default future tense

hello,

Could you, please, explain to me the difference between the below sentences?
a) What comes next after my leaving the country?
b) What will come next after my leaving the country?

Which one is correct?
1. I don't know how it will go.
2. I don't know how it goes. ( as we say : We will see how it goes)

thank you

Default Re: future tense

a) This could be used where is a fixed plan I don't know about. I'm a spy on a mission, I know I must leave the country, but after that... b) would be the normal form IMO

1 & 2 are both correct. I'd use 2 for something like a film or piece of music, not something in the future.
