    Dear Teachers,

    I read this from 29 Gifts by Cami Walker:

    "Go out into nature and make an offering of a quarter, a small bottle of alcohol and some flowers. You're offering these things to your ancestors."

    What does "an offering of a quarter" mean? Does "a quarter" refer to a coin?

    Yes, a 25 cent coin, a quarter of a dollar..
