when should we use past perfect
this is my first time i write to you .i have studied English for 2 years but i still have problem with using tenses espesialy perfect tense .i dont know what is the difference between past simple and past perfect because we always can use past simple instead of past perfect
if you can help me i will be thankful for you
forgive me because of the last wrong massage
Re: when should we use past perfect
The past perfect is "the past of the past"
I mean the present perfect happens before the past simple.
When I got home, my mother had (already) come.
By the way, Where are you from?
If you are Spanish speaker, I write the translation
El pasado perfecto es el pasado del pasado
O el pasado perfecto ocurre antes que el pasado simple
Por ejemplo (da la casualidad que es igual en español)
Cuando llegué a casa, mi mamá (ya) había venido
