Default help me correct these two sentences

Is it correct to say


I live in (or ..an apartment ? ) apartment with my parents.

or

I live with my parents in ( an ) apartment.


He is in the 12th grade.. or He is in 12th grade.

I live in an apartment with my parents.

or

I live with my parents in an apartment.

Both are fine- the difference is that in the first, you are less dependent on your parents.


He is in the 12th grade.. or He is in 12th grade.

I'd say 'the'
